WHO I AM
The last four years have been a journey of remembering who I am, identifying what needed to change, and learning how to show up authentically in this world. This journey has been about understanding myself, building my intuition muscle to tap into my inner guidance, and loving myself a little more each day. I’ve learned that I can only control my thoughts, feelings, and reactions to people, events, and situations. Through this process, I’ve discovered the power of self-forgiveness, positive self-talk, and the ability to begin again when I mess up.
I know there are many women and men out there in their midlife feeling unfulfilled, searching for something to make them feel alive. I want to tell them that it’s a lack of relationship with themselves that makes them feel empty, unfulfilled, and scared. Get back to you. Start spending time with yourself, meditate, journal, take a walk in nature. Give yourself a hug!
what I love to do
MY MISSION
At 50, I found myself discontented with the monotony of my life. It felt lackluster and routine, leaving me with an emptiness inside and a sense of loneliness. I longed to feel more alive, to escape the nagging question, “Is this it?” I was on a quest for true health and longevity, determined to thrive rather than merely survive. Despite having a full and beautiful life that many envied, I knew there was more I wanted to achieve.
I am blessed with two incredible young adult daughters and maintain a healthy relationship with their father, even after our divorce when they were young. My life has been enriched by exotic travel experiences and a new relationship with an old high school friend who is kind, fun, and attractive.
My career was flourishing, and while I was in decent shape, like many, I carried a few extra pounds. And let's be honest, who doesn’t enjoy a glass of wine now and then—or maybe more often than that? But I knew there was more. I craved vitality, mental clarity, and an enhanced sense of well-being. This yearning for a richer, more vibrant life set me on an extraordinary journey of transformation, one that goes beyond the surface and touches the core of what it means to truly thrive.
LEARNING TO LOVE MYSELF A LITTLE MORE EACH DAY
My Journey
My journey began with a deep dive into podcasts focused on personal development, mindset, health, and wellness. These topics were not new to me. I had a solid foundation in mindset, gratitude, nutrition, lifting heavy weights, energy healing, and the power of thoughts. However, knowledge without action is merely potential. And at that time, I was all potential and no movement.
Initially, I realized that I didn't like myself, largely due to my past choices. I didn't speak to or treat myself with kindness. I had no relationship with me. Then, in September 2020, a few months into my journey, I stumbled upon a podcast by Lewis Howes featuring Dr. Joe Dispenza. Dr. Joe’s words struck a chord: “If you want a new life, you need a new personality. And if you want a new personality, you need to stop making the same decisions as the day before. You need to break the habit of being yourself.” It was a revelation. Positive thinking and affirmations weren't enough; I had to do the work and make real changes.
I devoured his book, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, and began experimenting with his meditations. There were shifts, but the real transformation came after listening to a Sky Life podcast. Sky committed to 30 mornings of Dr. Joe’s meditations and experienced incredible results.
Inspired, I bought Meditations for Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and committed to a 5am routine starting January 1, 2021. This commitment changed my life forever. I emerged as a different person, and everything I do now stems from this profound transformation.
Dr. Joe ignited a spark within me, leading me to clarity through his meditations, especially the walking ones. This clarity propelled me to start organizing retreats in 2021 and more in 2022. The meditative insights gained were invaluable. Around this time, I connected with Steven Klein, a pivotal figure in my journey into biohacking. I convinced him to attend a Dr. Joe week-long retreat, and in turn, he introduced me to the world of biohacking, starting with the cold plunge.
By 2023, my journey and dedication to retreats and tours led to an invitation to be part of the documentary Biohack Yourself. This opportunity allowed me to share my experiences and the transformative impact of the retreats and tours I curate. The documentary will be released on Prime Video on December 15, 2024.
